Jorge de Abreu is a founding partner of the leading Portuguese law firm Abreu & Marques e Associados, (www.amsa.pt) who are long standing Corporate members of the Chamber.
Abreu & Marques began in 1972 and was one the first Portuguese law firms to open offices abroad, beginning with their London branch which opened in 1987 and became a member of The Law Society. In 1992 the firm opened an office in Funchal to handle business with the Madeira International Business Centre. Currently it has associations with law firms in Angola and Mozambique and correspondents throughout Europe, the United States and in Brazil, via its membership of The Law Firm Network.
