Jeremy read law at The Queen’s College, Oxford and he is a partner in DWF LLP’s Real Estate Litigation team.
Jeremy has dealt with all kinds of property related disputes during his career. His particular interests are leasehold covenants and forfeiture and, in relation to freehold land, easements and restrictive covenants. He regularly acts for clients and advises them in connection with Court proceedings at all levels. He is always keen to explore the possibilities offered by alternative dispute resolution.
Jeremy acts for developers (both residential and commercial), investors, and local authorities. Clients for whom he has worked include adidas (UK) Limited, Lancashire County Council, Salford City Council, Warrington Borough Council, Somerset County Council, Bruntwood Estates, Peel Holdings, Banco Santander Totta SA, Whitbread, Speedy Hire, Gladedale and the Merepark Group.
Jeremy is a Member both of the Property Litigation Association and of the Dilapidations Forum.
Jeremy frequently speaks at seminars and conferences, having regularly been asked to provide training to the RICS and to the Association of Chief Estates Surveyors in the last few years.
