Cristina Correia is originally from Madeira (Portugal) and is the founder and director of Tradenvest, a UK-based company which attracts and facilitates trade and investment between Portuguese-speaking countries and the UK, by supporting companies in innovative business sectors.
She holds a MBA from Lausanne Business School (Switzerland) and a post-graduate qualification in Finance from Universidade Catolica Portuguesa, in Lisbon.
Cristina worked in banking for 14 years in Lisbon and London, and has extensive experience in private banking and corporate banking. She currently serves as a member of the organising committee for the annual Portugal Day in the UK and is chair of the Portuguese Chamber’s PCBN networking sub-committee.
Geoffrey is a dual British and Irish national. After studying law at Birmingham and York and starting his legal career in Belfast and the City, he moved to Portugal. He has been living and working in Lisbon for 18 years and is registered as an English solicitor with the Portuguese Law Society. He specialises in advising UK residents on their Portuguese investments, including their tax and real estate matters. In order to deal with the high demand for advice on the very favourable tax regime in Portugal (the Non Habitual Tax Residence or NHR Programme) he has formed an experienced bilingual team who provide the full range of advice for NHR applicants, from the preliminary advice to the advice on the filing of the first NHR tax return and all of the tax, property and ancillary advice required in between.
Hugo Rosa Ferreira
Hugo is a Partner and the Head of the Finance Practice Area at Portuguese Law Firm PLMJ. Since 2015, Hugo is also the Head of the firm's UK Representative Office, in London. Frederico Camilo Alves
Frederico is the head of London Office and Permanent Representative of BCP/Millennium bcp in the UK. He is a VP level business development and leader in commercial, retail and wholesale banking with 20 years of experience working in Portugal’s second largest bank Millennium BCP. Hands on individual with strong commercial, management and interpersonal skills. Frederico joined the Council of the Chamber in 2015 and has being the sub-committee of SME’s for 3 years.

Jeremy read law at The Queen’s College, Oxford and he is a partner in DWF LLP’s Real Estate Litigation team.
Jeremy has dealt with all kinds of property related disputes during his career. His particular interests are leasehold covenants and forfeiture and, in relation to freehold land, easements and restrictive covenants. As well as dealing with “straight” property related disputes, Jeremy deals on a regular basis with professional negligence claims arising out of property related transactions and with disputes between Banks and their customers about the enforceability and validity of securities.
