Colin Glass

Colin is a Partner in the Private Wealth Department at Child and Child in London

He was awarded Charities and Not for Profit Lawyer of the Year 2016 in the Lawyer Monthly Magazine Awards.

Colin qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and specialises in advising UK and international clients on lifetime personal wealth protection and inheritance tax planning matters.

He is experienced in handling UK and international trusts and probates, as well as advising on Powers of Attorney. Colin works closely with Life Insurance Companies and Trust Companies in various jurisdictions including Luxembourg, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Cyprus, Mauritius, Malta and Singapore, as well as with national and international accountants and Independent Financial Advisers ensuring that his clients get access to the best possible advice when structuring their world-wide affairs.

Colin is a member of the Latin American Forum, which promotes business and legal contacts between the UK and South America. He is also a Deputy appointed by the Office of the of the Public Guardian and manages the affairs of those who are unable to act for themselves.

He is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section, and regularly gives presentations to accountancy practices, financial advisers and banks regarding wealth protection and related issues.
