Earlier this year, the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK signed a protocol relating to the Portuguese Food project, whose purpose was to promote Portuguese agri-food products in the UK market. In particular, this covered wines, olive oil and nuts, all promoted by the AAPI- Portuguese International Association and APPITAD Associations.
The Portuguese Food project has built partnerships between Portuguese products and agents in the United Kingdom, helping Portuguese entrepreneurs. Through these partnerships, Portugal’s business people have been successfully supported in building economic and commercial links with their opposite numbers in the UK. As part of the programme, several promotional activities have already taken place and good working partnerships have been built with UK business entities and local agents.
This is a project co- financed by Compete2020, Portugal2020 and FEDER
